Centers for certification of specialists will appear in NKR
At the 45th meeting of the Regional Council, it was decided to include the three Centers in a single Registry
The Association of restaurateurs and hoteliers of North Kazakhstan region, the NGO "Humanitarian and Economic College" and LLP "North Kazakhstan Training and Production Center" decided to open the certification centers for specialists. Now specialists who work in the spheres of services and transport will be able to receive a certificate confirming the qualification: sewing production, hairdressing, hotel, restaurant and shoemaking. It is also planned to cover other branches of engineering, construction and municipal, agriculture, veterinary, ecology and energy.
Head of the Human Resources Development Department of the Regional Chamber Vladimir Litvinenko introduced the audience with the rules and the order of the formation of the new Register. "In order to enter the Register, the Center needs to send a written request to us, as well as to prepare a package of documents, confirming its compliance with the qualification requirements. The Regional Council then reviews this application and, if approved, sends it to the National Chamber to include the applicant in a single Registry for a period of three years. The purpose of the formation and maintenance of the Register of Certification Centers of Specialists is the creation of a single database of centers that carry out independent certification of specialists", - he explained.
A specialist who claims to be a skilled worker will now be able to prove this by providing the employer with a certificate that testifies to the totality of individual abilities, professional knowledge, skills necessary to perform work in a particular specialty. Director of LLP "North Kazakhstani Training and Production Center", at which the students are trained, with a delay in development, noted that the creation of such centers will help people with the characteristics to become competitive in the labor market. "These people can be given a profession. My graduates work very well in sewing shops or as shoemakers. It's better than sitting at home on the neck of the state, and so they communicate with people, earn money. I am very glad that we will have such Centers, because they will be able to get a job without hindrance and the employer will have no doubts about their qualifications", said Alexei Egof.
The register of centers is formed and maintained by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken". Register of specialists, who were certified, is run by the Regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs. At the moment, such Centers operate only in two areas.
